From October to April, many members transition from tennis to platform tennis (commonly referred to as “paddle”). Platform tennis is a popular winter sport and a great way to get fresh air and competition as the temperatures drop.
We offer a variety of programs, leagues, and activities to facilitate member involvement. Programs include club tournaments, competitive teams, instructional activities, and open paddle for men, women, and juniors.
URTC participates in men’s and women’s inter-club and state leagues througout the fall and winter. Women's teams play on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Men's teams play on Saturday and Sunday mornings. For information about joining a team contact: 201-447-1503
